Action: 3.1 Consider allowing Jon Guice and Mrs. Fontenot to address the Board relative to the mask mandate

Legal Counsel, Jon Guice, briefed the Board and the meeting attendees on Louisiana law as it pertains to Government Mandates.  Mrs. Fontenot, parent, addressed the Board with her concerns of students wearing masks all day while in school.

 

Action: 3.2 Consider the recommendation of the Budget & Finance Committee regarding approval to pay all certificated staff a one time $500 supplement on November 10, 2021

Amended Motion - Approve paying all certificated staff a one time $700 supplement on November 10, 2021 and make permanent till 2024
