Information, Procedural: 5.1 Superintendent's Comments
Interviews for Students of the Year were held at the Central Office this week. All were exceptional students and parents. The winners will be announced tomorrow.
Livestock shows continue tomorrow. The Superintendent and some Board Members will be attending tomorrow morning.
There will be no school Monday in observation of Martin Luther King Day.
Thoughts and prayers for the family of Melvyn Smith, retired Principal of Mermentau Elementary School.
Prayers for an Elementary school student who was involved in a car accident and is in serious condition.
The Superintendent thanked the Board Members for their time and efforts in serving the students, parents and employees of Acadia Parish Schools.
