Recognition: 1.7 Recognize Rayne High School Band

Rayne High School Band Director introduced the Rayne High band students and received highest recognition in all the competitions this year.

 

Recognition: 1.8 Recognize Iota Middle School Football Team

Coach Henderson, Head Football, Athletic Director, Iota Middle, introduced the 8th grade football players. Went 7-0 undefeated this season. The board congratulated the boys on their achievement.

Mr. Bourque mentioned the Rayne High band and Iota Middle football players and the number of students involved is great. Grades come out for schools tomorrow. He mentioned the assessment is far out of line and needs to be fair. There is growth in some of our schools. Mr. Lacombe requested jean day on Friday for test scores, football and band achievements.
